Since the enforcement of PFI law (The Act on Promotion of Private Finance Initiative) in 1999, we have been continuously engaged in drafting bidding-related documents, contracts and in giving legal advice on related matters from various viewpoints for the fund providers (e.g. administrative agencies, business operators and financial institutions) concerning PFI projects (e.g. installations of ventilating and air conditioning equipment to public facilities and educational institutions, building facilities relating to earthquake reconstruction, or development work on public housing complexes). We have provided our services for over 100 cases in this field. We have been also engaged in a number of work for the projects with concession rights (e.g. toll roads airports, water and sewerage facilities) and for PPP projects (i.e. private-public partnership initiatives, such as the designated administrator or the design-build contract), both of which are expected to increase in the future. We offer legal support from diversified viewpoints, utilizing our wealth of knowledge and expertise.
