
Our lawyer Yosuke Ishii participated as a moderator in a seminar on India’s Environmental Law titled “Carbon Credit Trading Scheme in India” hosted by Embassy of Japan in India.
The seminar was attended by a high official from India’s Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power as a guest speaker. The participants engaged in lively discussions on the overview of the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme to start full-scale operation in 2026, its relationship with the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) between Japan and India, and future prospects for the scheme.
