We provide legal services in all areas of business restructuring and legal liquidation, from handling legal (in-court) insolvency proceedings in both rehabilitation-type (corporate reorganization and civil rehabilitation) and liquidation-type (bankruptcy and special liquidation) to planning and assisting in implementing, (out-of-court) voluntary reorganization schemes which, in some cases, combine insolvency proceedings with M&A, involving other schemes under proceedings of the business revitalization ADR, the Small and Medium-Sized Business Rehabilitation Support Co-operative, the Regional Economy Vitalization Corporation of Japan (REVIC), etc.. We also provide legal services for creditor clients in bankruptcy or corporate reorganization proceedings, including collecting claims, filing for bankruptcy on behalf of the creditor, and negotiating participation as a prospective sponsor in the restructuring proceedings.
