Experience

  • Response to JFTC’s inspections, etc. (such as leniency request, hearing procedures and action for revocation) for bid-rigging/cartel in Japan
    (*Category of Business : manufacturer of electronic components, chemical products, plant, asphalt, housing equipment, interior finishing materials or
    agricultural facilities, information technology corporation, department stores, etc.)
  • Response to government investigations/examinations, etc. for international cartel (incl. foreign government investigations and private actions such as class action lawsuits and individual civil lawsuits)
  • Response to Antitrust / Competition Merger Regulations and Filings (incl. premerger notification, Gun-jumping, etc.)
  • Supporting to build a structure of Antitrust Law compliance, etc.
  • Response to misconducts by listed/non-listed companies in violation of the Subcontract Act
  • Corporate litigation (e.g. Shareholders’ derivative actions, patent infringement lawsuits, requests for an injunction under the Copyright Act or the Unfair Competition Prevention Act, actions for revocation of administrative dispositions, request for an injunction against construction of a power plant, IT system development litigation and lawsuits related to defective products)
  • M&A of business companies, medical corporations, etc. (incl. listed and non-listed companies, medical corporations, and various others)
  • Legal research and response to government investigations/examinations for corporate misdoings by listed/non-listed companies
