Midosuji Legal Profession Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Firm”) will comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and other applicable laws and regulations, and establish and comply with the following in-house policy :
The Firm will acquire personal information by appropriate means.
The Firm will use the acquired personal information for the following purposes, and not for any other purpose except in cases where there is consent of the individual to whom such personal information belongs or where authorized by laws and regulations.
- For conducting professional legal practices.
- For sending information, notices or the like from the Firm or its lawyers.
- For recruiting lawyers or staffs.
- For sending notices about Firm guidance, visits or the like.
The Firm will not provide personal information to third parties except in cases where there is consent of the individual to whom such personal information belongs or where authorized by laws and regulations.
With regard to personal information, the Firm will take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss or destruction. The Firm will conduct a necessary and appropriate supervision over employees, as well as entrustees in instances when we have entrusted handling of personal information.
The Firm will appropriately respond to requests such as disclosure, correction, and suspension of use of personal information that the Firm possesses pursuant to laws and regulations, upon confirmation that such request is made by the individual to whom such personal information belongs.
In order to maintain the appropriate handling of personal information, the Firm will continuously improve the system of personal information protection including this policy.
